Who we are

The Pink Print Initiative is a nonprofit organization founded at The University of Alabama with a mission to educate, empower, and support individuals affected by breast cancer—especially young adults and underserved communities.

Our organization was founded in October 2022 by Na’Kysia Boykin, just after she received the life-changing news that she was officially breast cancer free. Diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer at only 18 years old during her freshman year of college, Na’Kysia turned her personal journey into a greater purpose—creating a space for advocacy, support, and healing for others facing similar challenges.

What started as one survivor’s testimony has grown into a powerful student-rooted movement focused on raising awareness, providing resources, and uplifting the voices of those often overlooked in the fight against breast cancer.

Through service, education, events, and community engagement, The Pink Print Initiative is committed to showing up for those impacted by breast cancer—because no one should face it alone. Our work is built on compassion, resilience, and the belief that healing happens when we come together.

Together, we are changing the narrative—one story, one survivor, one step at a time.
